Kevin and his entire team produced excellent results! Our home was long overdue for exterior maintenance and paint. In addition to the house, we had Kevin's team paint our fence and shed, as well as complete some minor drywall repair, popcorn ceiling removal, and painting inside. Kevin also provided us with references for some of the minor exterior repairs we needed prior to painting. Everything was meticulously scheduled to fit our schedule, as well as the schedule of those doing the minor exterior repairs and installing new flooring inside. We couldn't have asked for more.

He was extremely knowledgeable on the paints he suggested I use and how to solve some problems with peeling and mildew. My wife and I got estimates from two painting companies. Based on the recommendation of a neighbor, we got a third estimate from Five Star Painting, owned and operated by Kevin McManus Sr. and Kevin McManus Jr., a father and son who are U.S. military veterans. After Kevin Jr. visited our house and looked at the nature and scope of work, we decided to go to contract with Five Star Painting, which eventually painted the entire home interior, garage, back porch, and front steps. The crew working on this project included Theresa, Tammy, Larry, and John. Each of these people brought years of experience with Five Star to our job. Each person was capable, competent, and professional. They worked diligently every day, and it was a pleasure having them in our house. The painters went the “extra distance” to ensure that my wife and I were happy and satisfied. Dealing with father and son was easy, and that helped mitigate the stress that invariably comes from doing a major home improvement project. Kevin Jr. quickly produced an easy to read and understand estimate after his first visit to our house. He was also quick to produce easy to read and understand change orders, as the scope of work changed on occasion. We found Kevin Jr. easy to contact, and he always responded quickly to any questions we had by email, phone, text, or Facetime. My wife and I are happy with the final outcome, and equally happy that we contracted with Five Star painting.
