I was pleasantly surprised with the honest estimate Lee provided and found Kevin to be both personable and professional. The name of this company literally speaks for itself! They are the most professional and detailed oriented painting companies I have come across. From beginning to end, I had a wonderful experience. It began with Lee giving a thorough assessment of what needed to be painted. We needed the whole townhouse painted plus a new ceiling. I had a few other quotes before them and everyone took about 10 to 15 mins to go through the whole house. Lee spent a little over an hour walking though the house (inside and out) and explaining everything.He even gave me tips on things to consider when renting out our property. We went with the company just because Lee was so detailed we could tell he cared about the work he did. Then we met the other team members who were equally as amazing. The scheduler ( I don't remember is name) was so friendly and engaging on the phone. Kevin is phenomenal! He kept me updated throughout the process and was so intentional about making sure I was not spending to much money. If pricing had to change in any way he was so upfront about it. He also gave me a lot of pointers pertaining to fixing up our rental property. Gilbert (lead painter and carpenter) was amazing and worked so efficiently. He and his team restored my ceiling so that it looks brand new! Finally I met Shapiro who was very friendly and provided additional tips for preparing our rental property. I wish more companies operated as them. I didn't feel like a customer but truly like family. Although they were pricer than the other quotes it was money well spent! Kept in close contact regarding scheduling and did a great job with our space. We had some damage to the wall that required repair as well as high/difficult to reach places. Looks great.

Great experience. Decided to add the baseboard the afternoon of the second day. They got the materials so the crew could come back an additional day. Not the cheapest estimate, but they spent more time inspecting the garage.

I recently used Five Star Painting to repair major drywall damage and paint the entire 2nd floor of my townhouse. Lee came to review the damage and provided a quote. He was very open and honest regarding the work required to fix everything. The painters who did the work were very personable and worked efficiently. They even tolerated and were so friendly to my 81 year old mother who basically watched them and asked them questions about their families (sorry guys). Spiro came the 1st morning to check in and Kevin came twice on the second day. Everyone I worked with were highly professional, definitely experienced and very knowledgeable. I would recommend them and am happy to give Five Star Painting, five stars!

Extremely satisfied with the courtesy, patience, and professionalism of Five Star Painting. It took my company a while to decide what colors we wanted and set a date for work to begin but FiveStar let us keep the original quoted price and were extremely flexible. They did a great job with minimal disruption to our firehouse. Finished within 3 days!

10/10 recommend this company. We met with 3 companies total and picked Five Star Painting because of their customer service in addition to great pricing. During the initial walk through for the estimate Spiro and Kevin provided thorough explanations to the repairs and paint preference for each room. They were the only company out of the 3 to point out flaws on the wall (i.e. paint drips, cracks in the caulking, dents, old light switches/vents) and offered to repair or replace them. After hiring them we ended up finding out our roof had a leak and they repaired our ceiling cracks 4x at no additional cost. Spiro loaned me a paint sample book to help pick paint colors and gave me his phone number so I could get their discount on the paint samples. Their work was perfect. We had no issues with the final results and their professionalism was above and beyond. We have 2 rooms we left unpainted (kids play room) and will hire them in the future.

He was personable and kind. He helped me visualize my desired design and offered me fair estimate. Kevin Woolley was the Project Manager for the team who completed my project. He was thorough and made sure he had all of the details sorted before his team began. Kevin was also very considerate that I am a woman who was alone in the apartment at the time and made sure to ask permission when entering or where I would be most comfortable while the team worked. Since I was leaving to work, he kept me updated throughout the process. Overall, Five Star Painting of Columbia, MD did amazing work that is leading to my apartment feeling more like a home.

5 Star did an excellent job painting the exterior of my assisted living home. Staff was professional and quick. They even did repair work on overhang that was hit by a delivery truck and you can’t even tell it was hit.
