Bob worked in corporate America for 25+ years, has a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering and an MBA. The experience attained through his work on large complex system integration projects, business strategy and program management provided great experiences that Bob brings to the painting services providing our clients with the very best residential and commercial painting services in the industry. Bob’s career experiences include: testing, integrating, and training for the first in-orbit repair of a satellite in space; planning, integrating, and validating the technology that provides information directly to the Army field commanders to support real time war fighting decision; planning, integrating and collaborating with numerous Federal Departments and Agencies implementing an emergency communication network to operate during and after natural or manmade disasters; developing strategies and implementation services to deploy next generation cellular and network management systems. Bob decided to make a career change to own and operate a local business in 2017. After evaluating numerous opportunities, Bob decided to invest in a painting company, Five Star Painting of Edison and in 2022 expanded by acquiring Five Star Painting of Red Bank.

Ryan worked in corporate America for 10 years and has a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Ryan as the Project Accountant provided financial project oversight and analysis of large construction projects throughout the United States and internationally. During the project implementation Ryan is located on site working directly with the engineering, production, project management, executive teams, and the customer to understand all aspects of the project including, project objectives, customer expectation, subcontractor deliverables, etc. to analyze data and provide analysis of project cost, profitability, and risks. Ryan decided to leave corporate America and join his dad, Bob to build Five Star Painting of Edison, initially Ryan was involved part time, then in 2019 decided to make the career shift to being a small business owner. Ryan brings extensive in the field construction project experience, and lessons learned to the painting services providing our clients with the very best residential and commercial painting services in the industry. Ryan has grown Five Star Painting of Edison leading sales and operations to be the prominent paint company in the area and enabled the company to expand into other areas of Middlesex and Monmouth counties.
