We recently had the pleasure of working with John Drummond and his team at Five Star Painting in Pensacola, and the experience was truly exceptional! From the moment Mr. Drummond arrived, he impressed us with his efficiency and expertise. In just a few minutes, he provided a comprehensive and competitive estimate for painting our entire 1,500 square-foot home. This project included 99% of our ceilings, walls, and trim, transforming every inch of our living space. Our home needed significant attention, including extensive drywall repairs. The walls had large holes, numerous nails, and areas of flaking and peeling texture that required careful treatment. Dino and Chelsee, the talented crew members, tackled these challenges with professionalism and skill. Their meticulous attention to detail was evident throughout the entire project, from the preparation work to the final brush stroke. Dino and Chelsee maintained excellent communication with us from start to finish, keeping us informed and ensuring our satisfaction every step of the way. Even though a few minor details were initially overlooked, they were swiftly and thoroughly addressed during the final walk-through, leaving us thoroughly impressed with the quality of their work. We contacted John Drummond with Five Star to provide an estimate for ceiling roof leak damage and cracks in our interior drywall. He responded quickly and provided a service date within a week of the estimate. Once we decided to use this service, an appointment was scheduled within that week to take approximately 3-4 days to complete. On the date of service, John Drummond arrived with the assistant on time who began working to set up immediately. The painter( much younger) arrive shortly thereafter. Both were extremely pleasant and very cordial with us and with each other. They worked very quietly and appeared to work well together. They were very neat and cleaned and swept frequently. At the end of the day, they stored their supplies neatly and out of our way. The following day, the arrived on time and completed the job. Paint colors matched exceptionally well. The painter, John Gardener, even wiped the dust from the cabinet tops on request as my husband is unable to climb ladders to do it for me. After the job was completed, they again cleaned up after themselves very well and left leftover paint in the garage. Unfortunately after they left, we did find a small amount of paint on one of the covers of the kitchen fluorescent lights. John Gardener returned the next day, cleaned the cover and replaced it and while on the ladder, noticed the other cover need a quick cleaning as well. He cleaned that as well. The job was completed in 2 days instead of the 3-4 predicted. Overall, we are very pleased with our experience with Five Star Painting and they would be our first consideration for future painting needs.

John was very responsive with our questions & gave a fair quote. He reached out to us throughout the process to ensure everything was on schedule & that there were no concerns. Cyrus did an excellent job painting the interior of our house. We would definitely use Five Star again. We plan to have them back to paint kitchen cabinets. Highly recommend.
