I hired 5 Star to sand and paint my basement, and I'm beyond thrilled with how it turned out! Jonas, who did the job, was super friendly and a true professional. He showed up on time and totally nailed it with his attention to detail. My basement apartment looks amazing now! If you need painting done, definitely hit up 5 Star ask for Jonas. Can’t recommend them enough!

Just go with Jonas and FIVE STAR PAINTING. Hands down the best and most professional experience. I rarely write reviews, either positive or negative; but I am compelled to do so here. As soon as I submitted my request on Angie’s List for information on removing the popcorn ceiling and painting my entire house, my phone rang, and it was Jonas…he was the first!! I was immediately impressed with his tone, professionalism, and approach to working with me. Throughout this entire project, from the initial consultation to the finished product, I felt Jonas and his crew cared about me and the results right up until I gladly made the final payment. And when I say gladly…I mean it. He was very competitive with his pricing…. VERY! Competitive!! As a first-time homeowner, I had no idea what to expect. So many question…. who do you trust…. are they going to be good…. will they complete the project in a timely fashion. They knocked it out of the park. Jonas not only walked me through every step, but he also made many suggestions (big and small) that confirmed my belief in him and his crew. He took my vision and made it reality. His team was early every day, stayed late when needed, and busted out a pretty big project in a timely manner. RUN…don’t walk to Jonas and Five Star Painting…. you won’t regret it.

I've dealt with a number of contractors for different projects since I've moved to NJ, but after getting ridiculous estimates I ended up doing the jobs myself. What was different about Jonas and Five Star, was the effort he put in to earn the job, then exceeded my expectations. He helped me put all the finishes on my basement renovation and then also did the floor. I highly recommended Jonas & Five Star!

Five star painting did a very professional job when I had them paint my two bedrooms and bathrooms. They also did a very quality job of my laundry room which needed a lot of work. They were so considerate to change and repaint one bedroom which was my fault for picking out a color that I didn’t care for, so after painting two coats of the color that I had originally picked out they then went out and bought a completely different color and repainted the entire bedroom and didn’t charge me extra for it. Jonas only wanted to see that I was happy with the color. Jonas is such a caring man , I’m so happy that I found him and his company. While they worked they were careful to cover up everything to keep paint from spots that could have spilled on them, they were neat and clean. They came on time and finished the job in the amount of time they told me. Five star painting prices were fair. Overall I am very pleased with the quality of their work.

I recently hired Jonas and his team at Five Star Painting of Toms River for a painting job in my home, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. The entire crew was professional, diligent, and completed the work within the quoted timeframe. My 40-year-old home had significant imperfections in the drywall, especially in the bathroom, which needed extensive repair. Jonas’ team went above and beyond with the repair work, completely erasing all visible flaws. The finished paint job was excellent, and the transformation was truly remarkable—you’d never know what the walls looked like before. Jonas is amazing! I cannot recommend highly enough. He is thorough, courteous and professional. His work is excellent and he even made time to discuss my upcoming project on a Sunday. Don’t waste your time or money on anyone else. 5 Star Painting is the way to go. Will call them again for any projects I may have.
