I've dealt with a number of contractors for different projects since I've moved to NJ, but after getting ridiculous estimates I ended up doing the jobs myself. What was different about Jonas and Five Star, was the effort he put in to earn the job, then exceeded my expectations. He helped me put all the finishes on my basement renovation and then also did the floor. I highly recommended Jonas & Five Star!

Five star painting did a very professional job when I had them paint my two bedrooms and bathrooms. They also did a very quality job of my laundry room which needed a lot of work. They were so considerate to change and repaint one bedroom which was my fault for picking out a color that I didn’t care for, so after painting two coats of the color that I had originally picked out they then went out and bought a completely different color and repainted the entire bedroom and didn’t charge me extra for it. Jonas only wanted to see that I was happy with the color. Jonas is such a caring man , I’m so happy that I found him and his company. While they worked they were careful to cover up everything to keep paint from spots that could have spilled on them, they were neat and clean. They came on time and finished the job in the amount of time they told me. Five star painting prices were fair. Overall I am very pleased with the quality of their work.

Jonas is amazing! I cannot recommend highly enough. He is thorough, courteous and professional. His work is excellent and he even made time to discuss my upcoming project on a Sunday. We had no idea where to start on our painting needs. Jonas guided us through the whole process and managed the project. There was zero stress with Jonas managing the paint project. We are more than satisfied with the beautiful work done in our home. Jonas and his team went above our expectations.

Jonas and his Five Star Painting painted all the exterior trim of our home including our wrap around front porch. The team of painters worked long days; they were very neat and pleasant. Jonas kept in touch with us at the beginning of each work day, at the end of each day, and was always supportive of his crew. My husband and I have not a negative comment and our home looks great!

EXCEPTIONAL WORKMANSHIP AND PROFESSIONALISM I hired Jonas for the removal of the dreaded popcorn ceiling and complete painting of a 1500 sq ft condo. The ceilings and painting came out beautifully. He was also able to remove all the old ceiling fixtures, vanities, mirrors, etc. Jonas was such a pleasure to work with, a true professional in every aspect. Jonas had good communication skills and kept me updated on the job’s progress. (We weren’t living in the unit.) He was a wealth of knowledge regarding best choice of paint and helping narrow down color choices. Because yes, my head was spinning the more I researched paint colors. Apparently it is recommended to choose paint by light reflective valve (which is based on windows and lighting) and also the underlying colors of you flooring and cabinets.) I went with his recommendation and was so happy I did. The condo looked bigger and brighter than my previous paint color. The trim and baseboards looked very clean. As a person who tends to have some OCD traits, I was happy with the neatness of all the painting. The workmanship of his team was excellent. Strengths were punctuality, excellent communication skills, great in depth fund of knowledge, and patience in fully answering all my questions. I highly recommend him and plan to use him again.
