Robert Ferguson, owner of Five Star Painting of Willow Grove, opened his Black Owned business in the early fall of 2015. Prior to owning his own painting business, he spent 18 years in marketing as the Telemarketing Director for ThomasNet of the Thomas Publishing Company. Robert and his family had moved from New York to Willow Grove back in 2006 and he felt that transitioning to being a local franchise owner would give him an opportunity to become more involved with his community. “We love living in the Willow Grove area and now I’m able to serve our neighbors and local businesses by upgrading their homes and building’s looks and longevity.” And we enjoy giving back through organizations like the Ronald McDonald House in Philadelphia”. Robert’s wife, Mona is also involved in the community, working for the Upper Moreland Township School District, while his 18-year-old son, Nolan is actively involved in many clubs for his High School including recently singing at the Philadelphia Flyers game with his Pop Rock Club. Robert also enjoys time with family that remains in New York including his 4 grand-children…the youngest of which, his 3 year old Grand Daughter, Najua who calls and always says “I want to talk to Cranpa”
